first, my birthday

I can't believe I have avoided this space for so long. I've avoided it because I have been SO awful at taking pictures of the house, the little one running around it, our newly acquired furniture pieces (one of which is a player piano!), etc. that I just kept putting it off until another day. The one thing that I do have pictures of is our most recent trip that we returned from yesterday. We spent Wednesday through Saturday in Tucson, soaking up the sun, relaxing poolside and constantly being amazed by the beauty of the desert in spring. I'm not kidding, almost every plant we encountered had a bloom. Of course, I don't have any pictures of those...just pictures of our little guy looking as cute as ever. It was all a lovely surprise pulled together by Jed. Thank you my dear.
