a bountiful harvest

You may remember pictures of the garden in april...click here. Back then, it was mostly empty, save a few starters and some herbs. As you can see, things have come full circle and we had our first harvest of tomatoes this weekend! We also have lettuce, sunflowers and some really strange corn. Of course, looking out at my garden, I've come to the conclusion that as a gardener I'm providing much less of a meal for my family from my work, rather, I'm providing a delicious, organic buffet for any and all green caterpillars in the area :) As a warning...if I've given you a bouquet of my fantastic sunflowers, I apologize, feel free to check out the waving larvae hiding out in the pollen- cool, huh? I'll try to post a video of that sometime soon :)
