Nathaniel has really been getting better at being able to sit up on his own lately. He obviously enjoys this newest perspective on the world and relishes the views and objects that this new position offer to him. Of course, ever the proud mama, I tried to capture a few pictures of this moment in his development. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) Nate just LOVES the camera and having his picture taken so the moment I pulled out the camera, Nate was all laughter and reaches- making it pretty much impossible to get a picture of him sitting up. In the end, I think I'm actually more pleased with the way the pictures turned out, without showing off the sitting up. I suppose that's kind of how motherhood is- I stepped into it expecting one thing and came out with something unimaginably better.
