Do you ever get the feeling that someone's watching you? I found this picture among my thousands I have of Nate and I actually laughed out loud. This picture is so clearly exactly how Nate is these days. I can't seem to make a move without him noticing and following every motion I make. I'll be working on something, listening to him babble along as he's chewing on a book or toy and then it'll get eerily silent- I'll look up and notice that I'm being watched. Not just watched, actually, more like examined. Nathaniel has to be one of the most serious and observant people I've ever met- traits I'd always thought I'd love to have in a child but what now feel more strange and surreal. At least I know someone's looking out for me!
