Last weekend we got to take a family adventure on my parent's boat. Nate, Jed and I spent the night on it up in Oceanside Harbor, having a mini-vacation right here in town (my favorite kind of vacation lately!). The next morning my parents and Jess, Matt and Logan joined us and about half way down the kids were lucky enough to spot some dolphins. Nate was in awe the whole time. It was so incredible to see him watching them, talking about them, loving them. As soon as we were home, he was telling me how he wanted to see more fish and go on the boat.
The kids were even kind enough to help us clean the 'boat' up after the trip. What true sailors!
