This is Nathaniel's new napping buddy. If Nathaniel's asleep, I don't have to look far for Schwartz (or Baby as he's known around the house). Nate was asleep in the car this afternoon. The car was parked in the garage and I had the car doors open. I hear, "Mama," and go into the garage to get Nate. When I look next to his car seat, there's Schwartz, fast asleep. For as much abuse as that cat takes from Nathaniel (there are definitely moments where I wonder if it's even ethical to allow an animal into the home of a toddler), he clearly prefers him and spends most of his sleeping time (which is more than his waking time) with him. I love it.
