you know it's a good day when...

Now I know I'm doing a horrible job keeping up with posting when the picture I want to post was taken almost a week ago. Yikes! Last weekend we had some gloriously stormy weather, it actually rained. Enough so that I didn't need to water our trees this week (that's a good thing). On Sunday morning, the three of us were laying in bed, procrastinating getting up and moving when I looked out the window and saw this: I haven't seen a rainbow in so long. I don't think Nate could see/understand it, but I do know it made my day.

As an unrelated aside. That Saturday we had my grandparents over for lunch so they could check out the new house. Well, Nathaniel had to show off his favorite books and I was able to capture the most precious moment of him reading a book with my grandfather and aunt. Another good day...
