ta da!

Nathaniel is an outdoors kind of kid. Pretty much from birth he has been much calmer, happier, joyful, etc when out of doors. This has meant that, also since birth, we have had to take at least one, generally two or three, walks before the day is through. One of my favorite walks lately has been right down at the end of the street. You get to what seems like dead end on a field and then you start walking the dirt path around a loop. With all the rain this year this has transformed what is normally just a dirt plot into something so much more glorious. For a 15 month old who loves flowers, it is even more than that.

This evening we took the walk just before sunset and I brought along a camera. I was hoping to narrow down the pictures to two or three but I couldn't. You'll have to choose your own favorite.

Welcome spring. However short lived you may be here in Southern California.

How on Earth could I choose a favorite? That's a ridiculous command.
I only wish Ivy was there to run in the flowers with him!
