So, today was our two month "well baby" visit over at Kaiser. I have to admit, I didn't need the nurse to tell me that Nate had gained almost 4 pounds since birth- my aching arms could tell me that! Needless to say, he weighs in at a whopping 12 pounds 2 ounces and is now 23 1/2 inches long. Whew- that's a lot of eating to get that big!
The most informative part of the visit for me was when we found out that his wet diaper itself weighed 12 ounces. More incentive for me to make sure to stay on top of those diaper changes! That seems a lot safer than carrying around a baby without a diaper to save me from that weight.
