a busy october

I'm still catching my breath from the whirlwind of events, celebrations, get-togethers, crafting, projects and what have you that took place the last couple weeks of October.  I can't believe it's November yet I'm so very excited that it's November at the same time.

Our garden is still going full swing...this month brings with it avocados, persimmons, oranges, almost ripe tangerines, watermelon (!), lettuce, potatoes, squash and carrots.  Looks like it's going to be a yummy month :)
