Jed and I have been going back and forth about introducing a cat into our family. We're still on the fence but definitely leaning into the 'pro' camp. While researching different things I found the above home for chickens. Now, if having chickens would mean I get this fabulously designed structure (and fresh eggs!) in our backyard, maybe I need to start advocating for a different kind of 'pet.'

I don't know if you knew, but through a long and sordid history, I ended up with Selena again (and Dirk's the other furball).
First of all, Happy Anniversary! i hope it's not a day of mourning for you, as i find it to be one of the happiest days I ever had the great pleasure to be involved with.
As to the chicken cage... I think Jed will be quite comfortable in there. It is much more room than he needs (or perhaps deserves).
Finally..I'm sure that I am not the first person to mention this... but Nathaniel has movie star eyes. they are hypnotic.
