Just a quick note before I nod off to sleep...I just found this great site: TRUCE (Teachers Resisting Unhealthy Children's Entertainment). Actually, I rediscovered them to be more specific. Either way, I wanted to post about their great holiday toy guide. I know it may be a bit too late for this year but I just loved their shoebox gift ideas and I think these would work as gifts for not only the holidays but also birthdays and such. The sky's the limit with what you put into the box. It's also a great way to stick with reusing items you may already have for a different purpose as well as recycling and reducing waste. Ah, so many good things in one package, literally.
