of humidifiers and kleenex

I'm a bit ragged this evening, as I have been for the past few evenings, thus the lack of posts. Nathaniel seems to have picked up yet another cold and it has come on the heels of 3 1/2 teeth, all of which have involved many wakeful nights. I've pumped both he and I full of echinacia and astralagus, turned on the humidfier, ensured lots of sleeping and nursing opportunities and I have to say, though he's sick, I think Nathaniel has gotten the better end of the deal. It's definitely nights like tonight, though, when I become quite tempted to just hang up the car keys and stay home for a few weeks. I bet hermits rarely catch colds. I sure would miss our friends. Just not the sick ones :)
