Yesterday afternoon we boarded the plane for Chicago and left the smoky skies of SoCal for the clear air of Chicago's suburbs. We were off to see Jed's family. After a pretty uneventful and almost enjoyable flight, we had landed and Nathaniel got to see Grandma Lina and Grandpa Flory for the second time in his life. He also got to meet his Aunt Mia for the first time and hang out with his uncles- Justin and Kevin- again. This afternoon we took him to his favorite place in the world- Gymboree- and let him wear himself down for awhile. Here are some pictures that can only hint at the fun time he had. Luckily for Nathaniel, we have many more days during which he gets to be spoiled by his grandparents. And, as a very important aside, we've decided to kidnap Mia and keep her in the backseat of the car as she was able to *gasp* put him to sleep while she was sitting back there with him. Quite the miracle worker :)
