Nothing is as sweet as being able to make Nathaniel laugh. There have been times when I have caught him doing something silly, say eating his diaper cover or toes. I can't help myself and I'll start chuckling under my breath. Inevitably, a few seconds later, I'll hear the faintest of giggles and realize that Nathaniel is catching onto the joke himself. Often, at that point, he'll look up at me, I'll laugh outloud and the next thing you know it's a full blown giggle fest, back and forth, mama and baby love.
Yes, this is how I spend my days.
