getting over a cold

So for a few days now, Nate has been slowly ridding himself of a cold. The first night was definitely the worst, a plugged nose, leading to coughing, leading to wanting to nurse for comfort, leading to an inability to breathe out of his nose, which eventually led to Jed and I, at 2;30 in the morning jamming a blue plastic bulb up his nose in feeble attempts to "help" him. The next day Bon Bon (my mom) came to the rescue- buying a humidifier for the bedroom- helping us all breathe easier at night. Needless to say, his night time sleep has been distrupted a bit, the only way we've all gotten some good sleep is with Nate securely held in one of my arms... not so good for my arm circluation, I've found out. But, at least we're getting some sleep. All in all we've survived this first cold, none the worse for wear. I know this was a "little one," here's to hoping that they're all little ones :)
