I have to apologize for my scarce posts lately. Crafting and holiday eating have gotten the best of me, I've found less time to sit on the computer these days (such a very good thing). In order to make up for some of this lost time, I've decided to post a video. When you click below, you will get your very own glimpse into a typical day in the life of Nathaniel. The footage and uploading are all compliments of Nathaniel's grandma, all I had to do was click upload :) Just one more reason to be thankful for Bon Bon.
This is a video of Nathaniel's latest and most favorite of all pastimes, I'll call it 'blanket riding.' The second anyone lays down a blanket, whether it be on the ground, making the bed, what have you, Nathaniel will crawl right up, do his best to find the middle, and then fall onto his back. He actually warns you before he does this by emitting a really high pitch squeak a couple of times before he crawls onto the blanket, thereby letting you know, "I'm ready to play now!" He will seriously play this game for hours. It is always the adults who tire of this game well before he's ready.
The second clip in the video is of Nathaniel and his cousin Logan. These two genuinely love each other. Nathaniel will pat him on the head and belly about a million times a day if he could. That and give him kisses. Logan is the only one that Nathaniel will kiss voluntarily without prompting. Love. I'm telling you. The best part of it all is that Logan loves Nathaniel back. Nate will scratch, smoosh, and pull Logan about and Logan will laugh the whole time. He is thoroughly entertained by Nathaniel and can spend large chunks of time just watching Nathaniel crawl around a room. I am so glad they have each other.
